Sunflower Cedar Chest
Looking for a new addition to your home that brings both practicality and personality? This one-of-a-kind, hand-painted MCM Lane cedar chest is the solution. Repurposed with layers of chalk paint, an intricate stencil design, modern furniture legs, and lid hinges, this vintage yellow storage chest has been given a contemporary update for the 21st century. Measuring 43″L x 16.5’W. 19.5″H, this blanket chest with an interior shelf is the perfect storage solution for all sorts of items, from clothes to games. Plus, with a brand new knob replacing the original latch and lock per CPSC regulations, you can easily keep your belongings safe and secure.
In accordance with CPSC, I have removed the latch and lock and replaced it with a knob. United Furniture Industries is no longer administering the recall and replacement latches and locks per an announcement on 1/31/2023, and it is unclear if the replacement remedy will be made available again.
LOCAL PICK-UP
If you wish, you may pick up your purchase at Jen Dorsey Studio at a mutually agreed-upon time. Please bring moving materials and additional movers to help load the item into your vehicle.
TRANSIT TIME
The transit time may vary depending, for example, on your location, weather, and time of the year. However, purchases typically ship within 1-3 weeks of payment receipt.
RETURNS/CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS
Once payment is submitted, your purchase may not be returned, canceled, or refunded. Please double-check your order details before purchasing an item from my Etsy store. This is a restored, vintage piece, so expect variations/imperfections; It is not a new piece from a big box store.
SHIPPING DAMAGES
Inspect your new furniture piece upon delivery. Though unlikely, there is still a slight chance of damage caused by shipping for very large items. In the event your item arrives damaged, photograph the damage and contact me immediately. If no damages are reported after two (2)days, I will assume your item was delivered safely.
