FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When will my order be processed?
Orders are processed in the order they are received. We do charge for your order at the time of purchase. Standard processing time for non-furniture items is 2-4 business days and 1-3 weeks for furniture. In some cases, shipping may be delayed due to out-of-stock items or long delivery times. (Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, some shipments may experience a delay.)

Where does Jen Dorsey Studio ship orders?
We ship to the contiguous United States. We do not currently ship to AK, HI, or Canada. If you are interested in shipping to AK, HI, or Canada, or in international shipping, please contact us at jen@jendorseystudio.com, and we will do our best to make it happen!
From where will my order be shipped?
Most items are shipped from our workshop in Marblehead, MA, but some goods are drop shipped directly from the vendor.
How can I confirm the true color and/or texture of a website product?
We understand that computer monitors may inaccurately show colors and textures. But to help you make a decision, we can answer any questions and send you additional photos and product information. Please note, however, that slight imperfections (i.e., knots, divots, cracks) and material variations (i.e., marble, wood, linen, and stone) are cherished characteristics in many of our sustainably sourced goods and reclaimed pieces. These treasured traits do not make a product damaged or defective but add to its beauty.
How will my painted furniture piece be delivered?
- Threshold Delivery (Free)
Unless you choose otherwise, your furniture purchase will be threshold delivery. The item will be placed on the first dry area of your property (i.e. garage, covered porch) to ensure protection from the elements, *This is not inside delivery.
- White Glove Delivery (Extra Cost)
You can pay an additional fee for white glove delivery. This service includes delivery to a designated room of your choice (up to 2 staircases) and packaging removal. Please contact us at jen@jendorseystudio.com for a quote.
May I pick up my purchase at Jen Dorsey Studio?
If you wish, you may pick up your purchase at Jen Dorsey Studio at a mutually agreed upon time. Please remember to bring moving materials and additional movers to help you load the item into your vehicle.
Are all sales final?
Yes. Once payment is submitted your purchase may not be returned, canceled, or refunded unless the item was damaged during shipping.
Can I combine sales, discounts, and coupon codes?
No. Sales, discounts, and coupon codes cannot be combined and cannot be used on past purchases.
What happens if my purchase arrives damaged?
In the event your item arrives damaged, clearly photograph the damage, keep the item in its original packaging, if applicable, and contact us at jen@jendorseystudio.com within 2 days (48 hours). We will then initiate the claim process. If no damages are reported after two days (48 hours), we will assume that your order was delivered safely. Please be advised that we cannot accept returns without the original packaging. Refunds for damaged items will be processed back to the original form of payment.
